Location: All Cabell County Summer Camps will be held at Marshall University, Science Building Room 207 (Minecraft will be held in WAEC Engineering).
Ages: Grades listed include the grade the student will be during the 2024-2025 school year. Each camp will have 24 campers.
Camps are supported through a collaborative network including: West Virginia Science Adventures, Marshall University
Camp costs: Elementary focused camps are 1/2 day camps with snacks provided and cost $145/week. Full and half scholarships are available for these camps.

Minecraft Legends
Interested in building in your own world and becoming a legend in Minecraft? This camp will center on the world of Minecraft using pre-crafted biomes and your imagination to develop new creations. Instructors will guide campers through the biomes and incorporate engineering and math applications to the camp experience. Snacks will be provided.

Science of Exercise
Ever wondered how you can throw a ball or why you sweat? Campers will explore the human body and science of exercise. Daily, we will incorporate sports and play to understand exactly how the body moves and functions. This will be a very interactive camp, full of learning using models/dissections and play. Snacks will be provided.

Minecraft Enchantments
Building is fun in Minecraft but add special powers and the game is more enchanting. Here participants will build and learn how to add special items to their world in addition to team builds and challenges lead by camp instructors. Snacks will be provided.

Lego-tastic
If you can dream it, you can build it with Legos. Participants will focus on building cities and places using our expansive Lego collection and pre-built sets. Snacks will be provided.
